I think the greatest thing about finding a portrait of Keanu Reeves at First Thai in central Singapore is how everyone around is non-plussed by it. But then you look around the place more closely and realize that there's nothing particularly Thai about the memorabilia other than the odd Thai record or portrait. You get all the "Thai" infusion you need from the food, anyway.

The food, by the way, is really good despite the insistence that the place (as seen in the signs above) is "not a 5 star Michelin restaurant."

Update 2023: Unfortunately, due to COVID regulations, this restaurant has sadly closed. I really want to know what happened to that Keanu Reeves portrait.
